Project Overview
As cities modernize their grid, high-capacity fiber becomes the backbone of municipal operations. UrbanCore was contracted to physically execute and oversee the installation of a massive underground network connecting 14 key government facilities, emergency centers, and commercial hubs.

Challenges & Constraints
The downtown core presented a labyrinth of century-old underground utilities. Traditional trenching was impossible due to traffic disruption laws and historical pavement preservation requirements.

Execution & Oversight
UrbanCore deployed our specialized directional drilling crews, utilizing trenchless technology to bore conduit pathways beneath active intersections and historic properties. Our in-house site inspectors utilized ground-penetrating radar to map clear pathways, mitigating any strikes on existing municipal lines.
